Terms and conditions

  1. The license applicant must be an individual, although a legal entity may also apply if it takes one of the company forms specified in the Commercial Companies Law.
  2. The applicant must hold a university degree accredited in Special Education, Psychology, Counseling and Mental Health, Sociology, Social Work, or other related scientific fields in family affairs from a recognized university in the UAE.
  3. The applicant must be at least thirty (30) years old and fully legally competent.
  4. The applicant must not have previously been convicted of a felony or a dishonesty-related misdemeanor, even if their rights of rehabilitation have been restored.
  5. The applicant must not have a history of license revocation due to non-compliance in the past three years.
  6. The institution must provide suitable premises that meet all technical, engineering, health, and environmental requirements approved by the relevant authorities.

Requirements for Obtaining a License to Provide Matchmaking Services:

  1. The applicant must be a UAE national and the sole owner of the center.
  2. The applicant must hold at least a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  3. The center's activity must be limited to providing matchmaking services only.
  4. The applicant must comply with conditions (3), (4), (5), and (6) stated in the previous section.

  3. Good Conduct Certificate (Criminal Record) for the applicant and partners – if applicable
  4. Building plan showing the dimensions and measurements of rooms, halls, corridors, and sanitary facilities
  5. Copy of the property deed for the site or a copy of the lease agreement
  6. Additional Documents for Companies: Copy of the commercial license issued by the competent authorities in the UAE, the company's Articles of Association, and valid residency permits for the company owners
  7. Permit from the Civil Defense confirming compliance with fire prevention and safety requirements
  8. Copy of the commercial or professional license from the Department of Economic Development
  9. Information of the center director, their academic qualifications, and copies of experience certificates
