Issuance of the People of Determination Card

The People of Determination Card is an identity card issued by the Ministry of Family to persons with disabilities. It serves as an official document confirming that the holder is a person with a disability, ensuring the rights granted under Federal Law No. (29) of 2006 on Persons with Disabilities, as well as the regulations and decisions issued in its implementation.

Terms and conditions

  1. Must be an Emirati citizen or a legally resident in the UAE.
  2. Must have medical or psychological reports confirming the disability from an accredited official authority, such as a government hospital.

Required documents

  1. Medical report (for physical and sensory disabilities) and psychological report (for intellectual, psychological disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, and learning difficulties) from an accredited official authority confirming the presence of the disability.
  2. Passport-size photo with a white background.
